Privacy Policy

The short version

The numbers you type into our calculators are processed in your browser and are not sent to us. We only receive personal data if you choose to submit one of our contact or “talk to an expert” forms. We also use analytics to understand which tools get used.

What we collect

Calculator inputs. Salary, loan, investment, and tax figures you enter stay in your browser while you use a calculator. We do not receive them. If you download or share a result card, the image is generated on your device.

Contact and lead forms. If you submit a form, we receive your email address, your consent, the page you submitted from, and — depending on the form — the headline result shown on screen (RSU and severance pages), the topic you picked, and any optional note you write. Please don't include sensitive details such as PAN, Aadhaar, or bank account numbers in a note.

Analytics. When analytics is enabled, we use Google Tag Manager to record events such as which pages and calculators are used, button clicks, share actions, and the headline result of a calculation. These events are not linked to your name or email address. Google tags may set cookies and process your IP address and device information according to Google's own policies.

On your device. We store your light/dark theme preference in your browser's local storage so the site looks the way you left it.

Why we use it

We use form submissions to reply to you, to send a confirmation email, and — if you ask for help — to put you in touch with a tax or wealth professional. Our consent checkbox says you agree to be contacted by a PayClever partner; we contact you only about what you asked. We use analytics to improve the calculators and decide what to build next. We do not sell your personal data.

Who handles it

Form submissions are received by a small function hosted on Amazon Web Services and sent on as emails through Resend, an email delivery service. Those emails are delivered to the PayClever team and to the address you gave us. The site itself is hosted on Amazon Web Services, which, like any web host, processes technical data such as IP addresses to serve pages. Analytics are handled by Google as described above. If you ask for help, we may share your email and what you wrote with a professional or partner so they can contact you.

These providers may process data on servers outside India. Some pages contain partner links; if you click one and sign up, the partner's own privacy policy applies to what you give them.

How long we keep it

We do not run a separate database of leads: your submission lives in the emails described above. We keep those emails for as long as needed to respond to you and to keep a record of your consent, and we delete them when you ask us to, unless the law requires us to keep them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Use the Contact Us form and mention the email address you used. You can also block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings, or use a tracking-protection extension; the calculators work without them.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you can also raise it with the relevant data protection authority under Indian law.

Children

PayClever is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will update this page and the date at the top. See also our About page and methodology.
